Is there a way to detect the start and end of QuickTime's screen recording with an app for MacOSX?

It would be nice if some kind of notification had been notified, but I have not been able to find it so far.

Also, if you record QuickTime screen while playing content rented from iTunes Store on iTunes, the player's playback screen will be grayed out.

So I'm wondering if there's any way. What do you think?

If anyone knows, please take good care of me.

I think it will be difficult to detect in the same way as iTunes.

iTunes is not the screen recording itself, and most likely detects whether HDCP is enabled on the display you are playing.iTunes stops playing on displays that do not support HDCP, or when HDCP is temporarily disabled due to screen recording.

However, no API has been published to determine if HDCP is enabled.

Note: Mac OS X public APIs for checking/requiring HDCP/DPCP protection?
