Can I use the Arduino CAN-BUS shield in the Presense?

Asked 2 years ago, Updated 2 years ago, 41 views

We are considering adding a CAN bus and using it from Nuttx.I found Arduino CAN BUS shield, and I'm hoping that it can be used because it seems that Nuttx has a driver, MCP2515.
Please let me know if there is anyone who has used both the above shield and the pressense.
Please let me know if there are any other corresponding shields or additional methods.

Hello
I was just looking for a CAN, so I appreciate the information.

I'm going to buy this device and try it.
At a minimum, the ICSP header on the Shield side interferes with Spresense, so
I think I need to remove the ICSP header.

In that case, the SPI terminal assignment is

as described in the pasted URL. You may need to switch with a jumper.

By switching MISO, MOSI, and SCK jumpers, you can change the SPI pins from ICSP pins to D11 to D13 pins for some compatible devices (the default is ICSP).

I haven't answered yet, but I'll share it with you again when I try it.

It seems that the CAN board of the Spresense is on sale.
I think I can connect easily with this one.

For your information.
