How to Make .htaccess Available in OpenLiteSpeed

Asked 2 years ago, Updated 2 years ago, 56 views

Thank you for your help.
You are about to switch from Apache to OpenLiteSpeed.
For the time being, I have configured a virtual host and can now access it by domain name, but it seems that .htaccess is not loaded.
The .htaccess contains only the following lines specifying the error message:

ErrorDocument 404/404.html

Also, we have already verified that we can access other files.
Do I need any configuration to load .htaccess?
By the way, I tried "Yes" for both "Enable Rewrite" and "Auto Load from.htaccess" referring to How to use htaccess in OpenLiteSpeed.
Also, as mentioned on the above site, the Rewrite rule contains

<Document Route Path]/.htaccess

I also added it, but it didn't change.
The environment is Ubuntu 18.04, OpenLiteSpeed Ver.1.4.46.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Thank you for your help.
I've been researching a lot since then, but OpenLiteSpeed seems to limit the operation of .htaccess.

I think it will work if I use the Enterprise version, but for the time being, I will give up OpenLiteSpeed and use Apache.
Thank you.
