I want to install CUDA Toolkit 7.5 on a GeForce 930M laptop in Windows 10, but it doesn't work.
I don't expect any performance, but I would like to make it into a laptop with an environment where I can actually see if it works with CUDA.
In CUDA 7.0, similar wording appears during the system check stage.
We are planning to use CUDA from Theano and Chainer.
Is it possible to do GPGPU on 930M?Also, if possible, I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to introduce it.
The GeForce 930M itself supports CUDA.
The CUDA Toolkit comes with a specific version of the developer graphics driver, which is installed on your own at high speed.NVIDIA's graphics driver suite also includes CUDA/OpenCL drivers. The drivers shipped with CUDA Toolkit 7.5 are probably not compatible with the Windows 10 and GeForce 930M combination, so the warning message appears.
Since CUDA Toolkit drivers are not required to develop and run CUDA applications at all, please overwrite the GeForce 930M drivers for Windows 10 after installing CUDA Toolkit.Currently, the latest version is as follows.
365.10 WHQL, Windows 10 64-bit
365.10 WHQL, Windows 10 32-bit
I just finished reading the first chapter of CUDAC, so I can answer.
no problem with architecture and compute capability.
However, I am concerned about Wikipedia

How about getting a driver from below and trying it out?

I can't try it because I'm not a lap top.For your information,
lists the supported graphics boards, but the GeForce 930M does not appear to be included.
Why don't you try a laptop with the graphics board listed?
