The ubuntu notification area displays 'Error: BrokenCount > 0'.

It seems that the installation or uninstallation was not done properly, and the dependency was put in a bad state.

An error has occurred.Right-click to run Package Manager or see what the problem is with your device. The error message is as follows:'Error: BrokenCount>0' This is a condition where the installed package dependencies cannot be met.

When I updated it in Package Manager, it failed to complete due to an error.
What steps should I take to recover from the error?

linux ubuntu

I think I solved myself.

 sudo apt-get-f upgrade

When you run , the following display appears, but

The following packages have been installed automatically, but are no longer required:
libbaloocore4 libbalooo files4 libbalooxapian4 libepub0 libkactivities-models1 libkidletime4
libnepomukcleaner4 libnepomukcore4abi1 libqmobipocket1 libzip2
nepomuk-core-data nepomuk-core-runtime shared-desktop-ontologies
Please use 'apt-get autoremove' to delete this.
Upgrade: 0, New Install: 0, Delete: 0, Hold: 0.

libbaloocore4 in autoremove simply specifying the first file was enough to erase this statement.
