Connection fails with bx api in Bluemix CLI

I started using Bluemix for the first time today.
Install CLI PC After restarting the PC, I tried to connect from the command prompt, but I received the following error:

bx api https://api.ng.bluemix.net

API endpoints:https://api.ng.bluemix.net
US>Failed
Get https://api.ng.bluemix.net/v2/info:dial tcp23.37.155.59:443:connectex:A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection file.host required

"By the way, when I tried to access it by pasting ""https://api.ng.bluemix.net" on the browser URL, I was able to connect without any problems."

I looked up the event online, but nothing hit me...
Do I need any configuration settings after installing the CLI?
