Should I study Linux to know the overall process of Android - App Installation ~ App Execution ~ onCreate()?

It's an old book, so why don't you take a look at the "Inside Android" book? This book is about the Android internal framework. It's good to study Linux, but the range is huge, so I think it would be better to focus on the parts used on Android.
