We recommend using ProcessBuilder.

You can use it like this.

ProcessBuilder pb = new ProcessBuilder("/path/to/java", "-jar", "your.jar");
pb.directory(new File("preferred/working/directory"));
Process p = pb.start();

How about using JarClassLoader in Oracle's Java Tutorial?
