The topic may be a little far from this community site, but since the people who use this site are mainly developers, I'm asking you this question because I think you'll be the closest to my question.
When learning programming languages or OSs and networks, is it better to take notes on important concepts or language grammar?
Of course, I still take notes in books, underline, and organize them when I read and study books. After learning, use a program called 'Quiver' that can be run on Mac OS to organize sources or organize concepts.
But now that I think about it, taking notes will be important, but I'm not sure if I should take notes at the same time or just do it the way I am now.
I would appreciate it if you could tell me how you do it or if you have any personal opinions.

I can't give you a definite answer because each person has different ways
Unless it's a test right now, there's no reason to write it down
While learning, those terms and concepts are usually memorized without me knowing.
Of course, it's better to memorize the basic concepts of OSI layer 7 than to write them down.
In my case, I like to learn it by myself rather than memorizing it. It's easier to memorize
