Estimate EmEditor Memory Capacity, Macro Speed, and Number of Lines to Open
Thank you for your help.
Currently, the Ryzen 7 3700X has 128 Giga M.2 NVMe 512 Giga memory.
Please tell me the approximate number of lines that can be opened with this capacity.
If 256 gigabytes of memory is used, will it open a trillion lines?
In my case, I don't have a huge file yet, but I will need it in the future.
There is also macro processing that takes several tens of minutes.
I cut this down to a fraction of the time it takes even with EmEditor Professional.
In other text editors, the screen moves up and down and takes several tens of hours, but in EmEditor, the screen doesn't move at all and is fast, so it's helpful.
Does the speed of the macro affect the amount of memory?
Thank you for your cooperation.

It depends more on the amount of virtual memory than on physical memory. If you experience low memory errors, try increasing enough virtual memory in Windows.US>The speed of the macro is not affected by the amount of memory.
