visual studio build tab missing

Thank you for your help.
I tried to build the c# file using visual studio 2017, but it cannot be run because the build tab is missing as shown below.
What should I do?

Project not loaded for build.Open your project or solution from the File menu.

Also, it's not a tab, it's a menu.
