How do I erase a specific search history in the Explorer search box in Windows 10?

Asked 2 years ago, Updated 2 years ago, 105 views

I have a question about how to erase the search history in the Search box that searches for files in the upper right corner of the Explorer (folder screen) in Windows 10.

In Windows 7, I was able to delete the history individually with the del key by cursoring the search history, but in Windows 10, the only way to delete it was to delete it all at once.
Also, there was no way to disable the search history.

How do I erase only the specific search history in the Explorer search box?
It is roughly explained here.
Clear Explorer search history
However, it is very troublesome to manually manipulate the registry, display Unicode(UTF-16) data binary, and to erase only one item, both individual number entries and MRUListEx must be operated consistently.

In the above article, the tree position information end of the registry is slightly cut off and is not complete, so refer to the following article.

How to Disable Explorer Search History
It looks like it can be done with one of the following.
To hide search history in Windows 10 Explorer
Disable Explorer Search History/Same ContentDelete Explorer Search History

There are no such functions as:
"It may not be the same as the request, but there is an article like this, and ""Search History of Explorer"" is also included, so there may be a function to erase individual search history."
10x the standard cleaner CCleaner over 10 years old Third
Please give it a try.
