Visual Studio for Mac 'Fold' Shortcut Does Not Work

Shortcut not working

I put Visual Studio in my Mac, but the menu is

View > Collapse > All of the following menus are grayed out and cannot be activated

If you move the mouse cursor closer to the source code, a + mark appears and you can click to fold it.
For some reason, the menu is grayed out, so I can't get keyboard shortcuts

I tried reinstalling Visual Studio, but the symptom did not go away
How can I enable this menu and use keyboard shortcuts?
Please let me know

I have never used the application before, but I think the following statement applies:

Collapse is turned off by default on Visual Studio for Mac.
To enable cord folding, go to Visual Studio > User Preferences > Text Editor > General > Collapse Code.
