Not reflected in search after site multilingualization

Multilingualize HTML pages and

English http~.com
Japanese version of http~~.com/ja/

This is the configuration.

However, when I search in Japanese, the title of the English version becomes a hit.

"Alternate, hreflang tags are also attached to both ""en"" and ""ja"" tags."
However, it does not appear in the search.

One of the concerns is the implementation of JS scripts that automatically redirect depending on the browser language.
(Example: When a person with Japanese settings goes to the English version (.com) site, it automatically transitions to the Japanese version (.com/ja/).vice versa)

Also, when I request index registration from fetch as google, I see that the crawl is complete.

What measures should I take to display the English version for the English search and the Japanese version for the Japanese search?

javascript html google-search

Google's Content Guidelines deny automatic language redirection. The Japanese version of the search engine may not be accessible because the recognition language is not ja.

Do not automatically redirect based on the user's recognized language.Such redirects may prevent users (and search engines) from seeing all language versions of the site.
