Cannot load blender file in three.js sample

in three.js https://github.com/mrdoob/three.js/tree/dev/examples/models/skinned/marine
I want to open Marine_anims_core.blend on this page with blender, but I can't open it because I was told that it is not a supported file format.
Is there any way to open it?
