With Skype running, we tested to obtain the IP address of the other side of the Skype communication using a wire shark (packet analysis software).
The filter contains
ip.src=192.168.0.hoge and udp.srcport== (Skype Receive Port)
The IP address could not be detected.
The router's global IP (which appears to be the address) was obtained.
Is there something wrong?
The environment is wiresharking clients are MAC (10.11.4) communicating with Windows machines in the same local net and Windows machines on the external network.
The network is powered by Skype on a PC on the local network from CATV through a router modem.
Please let me know
I don't really understand Skype communication, but I don't think I can see private IP because the router is NATing it.
