How do I treat an image as an object?

Asked 1 years ago, Updated 1 years ago, 90 views

This is my first time to use it.
I'm a beginner at unity.I wanted to display the image in Scene view.
<How>Drag and drop images into the project view→In the inspector view, the texture type was sprite and applied.
However, when I tried to use Ray to determine if there was an object, the image did not respond. The 3D object provided by unity default responded.
Does the <method> method treat images as objects?
I haven't studied unity at all, so I don't know anything about it. I think it's a wrong question, but I appreciate your cooperation.

I'm also a beginner, so there may be other ways, but
If you add Addcomponent>physics>collider, you may be able to set up collision determination.
