How to enter を using Google IME on a Mac in an English environment

In OS X, I set \ to enter \ with the \ key.
RubyMine will enter <.

I found an article about someone who was using the keyboard customization tool, but I thought it was a RubyMine bug, so I registered with Issues.

However, in the English environment, the difference in key arrangement is probably the cause, but it seems that the circle is not entered in the alphanumeric input mode of GoogleIME.

If we don't reproduce it, we won't be able to take measures against bugs, so is there any way to reproduce it?
I was wondering if anyone would know how to ask a question in Japanese, so I asked this question.

I understand that some apps input backslashes even if you set the circle symbol for the characters entered with the キー key.In my environment, the backslash is always entered in iTerm.

Please tell me how to enter a circle symbol in iTerm when using Google IME alphanumeric mode.

Please tell me how to enter a circle symbol in iTerm when using Google IME alphanumeric mode.

You cannot enter a circular symbol at the terminal.Type Option + Y to enter a backslash.Perhaps it is possible to infer that it complies with this behavior of the terminal.
IME does not matter whether it is Google IME or not.If you enter the input source as U.S. in the system configuration settings, the circle will still be backslashed.

It seems that the backslash is entered on software such as iTerm, which probably has the environment settings in English.

Is that judgment correct?Rather, I guess it's only terminal and iTerm behavior. This is not statistically true, but I think we have to pick up quite a few samples before reaching a conclusion.
What about RubyMine?
