Electrical circuit system question DC power (-) malfunction when connected directly to GND of servo motor

Asked 2 years ago, Updated 2 years ago, 50 views

The ESP32 connects directly from a DC power source to run the MG996R. The servo motor has started to rampage.

In the end
Why is the problem solved by connecting DC power supply (-)→Servo(GND)→ESP32(GND) in series?

By the way, DC is 6V.

The voltage of the DC power supply -6V will not be zero because the PWM distribution voltage will probably increase?Defects?
I'm wondering if
ESP32 (GND) is not a voltage of 0V, is it?

A motor is a lump of coil.If you drive it with a PWM or other pulse, it will make a lot of noise.
If this noise jumps into the CPU signal line or power line, the CPU may run wild and malfunction.
Therefore, the wiring between the power supply, the motor, and the CPU is not good unless you care about the route and the order.
