Asked 2 years ago, Updated 2 years ago, 38 views

Please help me.

I am a beginner at Magento, but when I install it, I get the following error:

One or more indexes are invalid. Make sure your Magentocron job is running.

What should we do to solve this?
os is macbook air.

I tried to try the following, but I am an amateur who doesn't know where to write the red line.

It would be very helpful if you could tell me what and where to write it.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Index updates from the command?
For Macs, start the terminal and navigate to the directory where you installed Magento.Run the appropriate command there.

You may want to visit Linux or Unix shell operations sites around here.

Also, I don't recommend running the current Magento on MacOS.If you use Macports or HomeBrew, the movement is slightly different from Linux, so it doesn't work as expected, so you should stop.

If it's easy to try, it's easy if the DevBox distributed by the formula is Mac.
Of course, a combination of Vagrant and Virtualbox virtual machines published on Github and others would be fine.
