About the updated ipa test of the released iOS app

I had to update the iOS app that was already released, so
When I tried to install the updated ipa file on the actual machine,
Failed to install.
i ipa is uploaded on the server.

There was already a released application installed on the actual machine, so
I thought it might be the influence of this released app.
After uninstalling the released application from the actual machine, install it
The installation was successful, but of course it was uninstalled, so the data was initialized.

I wanted to test the updated version with the data taken over.
In the first place, can't I test it on the actual machine without deleting the released application?
