Is there a way to run ubuntu 22.04 on an external USB HDD while using Windows 10?

Only for Pro, Enterprise, Education, but Hyper-V seems to be able to mount USB-HDD directly through pass-through.

Just in case, I'm trying to install it using the above method.The difference between virtual and physical may not work, so try trial and error afterwards.
