About bugs when sorting 1 million lines in ascending and descending order

Hello
EmEditor 20.2.2 sorted 1 million lines of URLs and found
A-Z and Z-A process without any problems, but if you select ascending and descending sorting,
The first line clearly shows an unusual number.

Below is a URL that does not exist, but

https://google.com/sample/ABC5000000
https://google.com/sample/ABC5000001
...
https://google.com/sample/ABC5999998
https://google.com/sample/ABC5999999

When sorted in ascending order, the first line is https://google.com/sample/ABC5062500 and
When sorted in descending order, the first line is https://google.com/sample/ABC5750000.

Also,
https://google/sample/ABC5000000
https://google/sample/ABC5000001
...
https://google/sample/ABC599998
https://google/sample/ABC599999
In the case of , both ascending and descending order can be sorted successfully, and I believe the period has some effect.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but please check it.

The EmEditor FAQ says, "Opening a giant file disables the sort command). What are the conditions under which the sort command is disabled?

There are two reasons why the sort command is disabled:

is described as .

Why don't you check if your Windows or EmEditor is in 32-bit or 64-bit versions, and then work with the registry if necessary?

[Caution!] Misconfiguring the registry causes problems such as the worst case scenario in which the system will not boot.
If you are not familiar with the Registry Editor, you should ask someone familiar with Windows to help you.
