Is it possible to exchange data between two computers through Slack?

In LAN environments, exchanging files can be easily accomplished using ftp applications, or in most cases using OS standard "shared" features.

If it's a WAN, it's kind of troublesome.
It's possible in itself, but if you try to get people who aren't very familiar with it to do it, they're usually too lazy and end up relying on e-mails.

So I thought I might be able to do it with an interactive API like Slack, but what do you think?
