I'm trying to tinker with the SORACOM that was announced last month, but
I stumbled while setting up SORACOM Beam.
First, I tried to check the connection to Beam, but now it is as follows.
configuration
State
ping www.google.co.jp
繋がるConnectping beam.soracom.io
< ping:sendto:Host is down
curl http://beam.soracom.io:8888/
curl:(7) Failed to connect to beam.soracom.io port 8888:Operation timed out
This is the situation.
Please let me know if anyone has any helpful information in the situation where it does not connect to beam.soracom.io.
environment
OS:Mac OS X YOSEMITE
SIM:Nanodata Communications/SMS
routers:Docomo BF-01B
That's it.
beam.soracom.io
is tied to a link-local address (169.254.254.169
), so check the routing settings for the link-local address.
Since this time it is via a Wi-Fi router, OS X routing and Wi-Fi router routing are related. Please refer to page 14 to page 16 for examples of the DWR-PG configuration of the same model number.
