About the rails server startup error: cannot load Such file --listen(LoadError)

Asked 2 years ago, Updated 2 years ago, 42 views

I study programming on my own through Google.

If you execute the command as follows, you will see an error.

commands executed:

 rails new sample
cd sample
rails

error messages:

=>Booting Puma
=>Rails 6.1.3.1 application starting in development
=>Run`bin/rails server --help`for more startup options
Exiting
/Users/hiratashinichi/puma-test/vendor/bundle/ruby/3.0.0/gems/bootsnap-1.7.3/lib/bootsnap/load_path_cache/core_ext/kernel_require.rb:23:in `require':cannot load Such file --listenError)

I've done some research and done some things myself, but I'm at a loss.
What I've dealt with myself is

  • Reversion of listen to gem files
  • Change the rbenv and ruby versions and run the rails new app name again
  • Try rails webpacker:install because webpacker installation is not successful. (Yarn node already installed)

How did you deal with anyone who has been in the same situation as me?
I am a beginner, so please understand the questionnaire.

Dear Masafumi Okura, Thank you for your comment. After doing cd sample, I also tried bundle install, but it was still a load error. The contents of the gemfile are as follows, but is there something wrong?

While I was looking into it myself, I tried to comment out and rewrite it, and the version also fiddled with errors such as railsabord!

Try deleting the files below.
-app/tmp/cache/bootsnap-load-path-cache
-app/tmp/cache/bootsnap-compile-cache
