Understanding the Differences Between VScode and IDLE Editing Methods

Asked 2 years ago, Updated 2 years ago, 78 views

This is my first time to ask you a question because I have never experienced programming or this site. I'm sorry if there is any rude way or content in the writing.

Questions to ask:

Programming language type: python

I am copying sutras using a sample program.
I was coding with VS code, but there was an error in the sample code itself, so
I thought it was a mistake, but if I run with IDLE, I will load it.

Is there a difference in loading between VS CODE and IDLE?

I'm sorry it's abstract, but it's difficult to explain because I'm a beginner. I would appreciate it if you could let me know as much as you can.

The VS Code environment is most likely to experience errors such as this question. Please see the page below for details.
https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/languages/python#_environments

In English, to put it simply, the status bar at the bottom left of the VS Code shows the current environment.

If no Python is selected, SeSelect Python Environment と appears.

If none of the Pythons are selected or if the selected Python differs from the Python used to run on IDLE, an error will occur.

If so, select view->Comand Palette from the menu, and then Python:Select Interpreter to see a list of Python running environments, so choose the appropriate one.

You can also change the environment by clicking on the characters "Current Environment" or "Select Python Environment" without using "ctrl+shift+P" to display a list of Python running environments.
