Android device changed from FZ-B2 to FZ-L1, but bar code reader specification changed and implementation method is unknown

As you can see in the title, the bar code reader's specifications are different when replacing a new terminal.
Currently, it reads one character at a time, while the new terminal reads all at once.

The new device has information such as SDK, but currently there is no information about SDK on the Internet, so I don't even know if it's being used.

I'd like to ask you some tips and opportunities.

Android version: 6.0→8.1

Let me borrow your wisdom.
Thank you for your cooperation.

The features available vary slightly depending on the model, but the SDK released by Panasonic seems to support both devices in common.

Download Panasonic Software Development Kit (SDK) for Android base models (V1.00L13M00)|Panasonic PC Support

For barcode readers, there was a page that published examples of API usage included in ToughpadSDK.
