Docker for Windows Cannot Start

Asked 1 years ago, Updated 1 years ago, 42 views

After installing Docker for Windows and launching Docker Desktop, "Cannot enable Hyper-V Service" is displayed as shown in the attached image and cannot be started.

Also, I set up Hyper-V with reference to the following article, but I get an error similar to the attached image on Powershell.

You should have enabled Hyper-V for Windows features and programs, but are there any other requirements for booting?
I'm a beginner and I might have a mistake, but I'd appreciate it if you could teach me.

If enabling BIOS settings does not work, launch a command prompt with administrator privileges and

bcdedit/set hypervisorlaunchtype auto

There was an article saying that it works when you run and restart .From it-swarm.dev
Why don't you try this?

There are BIOS items that need to be enabled.

The link below is for the same error as the questioner.

Try to enable virtualization in BIOS.

Enabling virtualization worked for me, thanks mate

Enabling virtualization from BIOS worked out for me as well. Thanks!

There are many things on the link above that have been resolved.

In Japanese, I found a page similar to the one below referring to BIOS.

Enable the virtualization platform "Hyper-V" in Windows 10:Tech TIPS-@IT

On the other hand, I don't think the description of the BIOS can be found on the page that the questioner is referring to.
