Is there an advantage in acquiring a domain in the registrar and delegating (managing) the domain acquired to an on-premises authoritative DNS server?
I think it would be better to manage it with the name server of the registrar in terms of security and availability, but I would like to know if it is convenient to manage it with an on-premises authoritative DNS server for xxx.
In addition, we are currently thinking about managing the domain associated with an on-premises web server that can be accessed from the Internet.

If you are familiar with DNS server design and operation, the "free control" of your DNS server is an advantage, but if you are not familiar with it, it is a disadvantage rather than a disadvantage.
The above is an example, and it generally doesn't make sense to look for benefits without preconditions, so first consider whether they meet your requirements.
