Unable to connect externally to Ubuntu Server

Asked 1 years ago, Updated 1 years ago, 42 views

I installed Ubuntu Server for SVN, but I am having trouble connecting from outside the router.
I tried opening the port to try an SSH connection, but the ping (global IP specification) didn't go through before that.
The connection is wired, the server is connected to the Internet, and there is no problem with each other in the LAN.
Please tell me the possible causes.

★What you did

·Ping permission
Allow ping requests from WAN side in router configuration

·DHCP fixed assignment
Specify the IP address (192.168.10.10) and the MAC address of the server in the router configuration

·Port mapping settings
Specify ports 80 and 22 for the above specified IP address (192.168.10.10) in the router configuration

·Firewall settings
Allow ports 80 and 22 on ufw

Access to the router from the outside, i.e. from the Internet side

1. After clearing empty ports can be used to set port forward

You must clear two of the .

1. is a balance with the ISP, so I can't answer it.
2. is when the router is using port 80 for the configuration screen, and it does not connect well with the server.
ssh should also use an empty port, such as port 20022 to port 22 of the server

I often talk about my mistakes, but
I used to check the Internet ports on the server on the network in my router (WiFi).

All you need to do is turn off the Wi-Fi on your smartphone and check the status of the server on your SIM card network.
